Distinguished Guest Lecture Series: Building a Cyber-Resilient Business Culture - Strategies for Sustaining Security In-Person

Lecture Description

In today's digital landscape, small businesses are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals. Recent reports indicate that 41% of small businesses experienced a cyber-attack in 2023, up from 38% in 2022 and 22% in 2021. The financial impact is significant, with the average cost of a data breach for businesses with fewer than 500 employees reaching $2.98 million. Alarmingly, 60% of small businesses that suffer a cyberattack go out of business within six months.

In this lecture, we will discuss how small businesses can cultivate a culture of cyber resilience. Learn practical strategies to identify vulnerabilities, empower employees as the first line of defense, and integrate cybersecurity into daily operations. This session will provide actionable insights to help your organization not only withstand cyber threats but also thrive in an increasingly digital world.
